CURRENTLY COVETING

It’s beginning to feel a lot like winter here in New York City, which means it is time to bring out heavier coats and thicker fabrics — hello, wool and cashmere. The Toteme Teddy Shearling Clasp Jacket has been on my (delusional) wishlist since it debuted in 2020. However, the current retail price is USD 3K, and therefore, it will remain on my wishlist. The viral Mango coat, shown above, is the perfect dupe and retails for $199. Given my love for a shearling clasp coat, there was no hesitation to purchase the Mango coat when I saw the newly released all-black version on their website. 

This winter, I am curating a wardrobe that is minimal, timeless pieces that are versatile and, comfortable. I have been on the hunt for kitten-heel leather boots, and the Pointed Kitten-Heel Leather Boots from COS are dreamy. I love the classic design and simplistic detail of the curved heel that help to elevate the overall boot. I especially love that the heel height is 2.36 inches — comfortable for walking and stylish for every outfit. Paired with trousers, a wool sweater, and simple gold earrings — I love these clip-on earrings from LiliClaspe. I can imagine wearing these boots with just about everything.
