physical
Engaging in regular physical activity is an essential form of self-care that strengthens your body, improves mood by releasing endorphins, boosts energy levels, reduces stress, enhances sleep quality, and promotes overall health and resilience. Be sure to listen to your body and consult with a medical professional prior to beginning any new workout routines:
Go for a brisk walk (2x weekly)
20 Minutes Express Pilates, Move with Nicole (1x weekly)
Morning Mobility Workout, Train Like a Ballerina (2x weekly)
Social and relational self-care
Call or FaceTime a friend or family member. This small act is a powerful form of self-care because it reduces loneliness, boosts mood through feel-good brain chemicals, offers perspective, validates emotions, strengthens bonds, and fosters mutual support.
CREATIVE
Create a vision board with this month's goals. Making a vision board is a creative and reflective self-care activity that allows you to clarify your goals, explore your values, and visually map out your dreams. By selecting images, words, and symbols that inspire you, you engage your imagination and tap into your emotions, which can boost motivation, reinforce a positive mindset, and keep you focused on the life you want to create.
life skills
Declutter one small area each day. Decluttering your space is important because it not only creates a cleaner, more organized environment but also helps reduce mental clutter, making it easier to focus and feel calm. When your surroundings are tidy, it lowers stress and anxiety, boosts productivity, and gives you a greater sense of control and peace in your daily life.
self-reflection journal prompt
“What small habits or routines have helped me feel more balanced and focused recently? What is one new habit I want to try this week to support my goals and well-being?”
